I. What are the factors of global warming?
A. Pollution * Gases include CO2 , Methane, Nitrouos oxide, CFC and etc, * Most of this has been influenced by industrialization which results in emission of gases like CO2 * China, among the leading industrialized countries that contribute to global warming. B. Deforestation
* High population growth * Trees once present they absorb the CO2 released by burning of fossil fuels. * The growth of world population has led to cutting down trees (deforestation) so as to expand settlements and higher demand for timber for domestic purposes. C. Natural factors

II. What are the effects of global warming? A. Rise in sea-levels worldwide due to melting glaciers. * According to NASA, the polar ice cap is now melting at the alarming rate of 9 percent per decade. Arctic ice thickness has decreased 40 percent since the 1960s. * At the current rate of retreat, all of the glaciers in the Glacier National Park will be gone by 2070 * Greenland holds 10 percent of the global ice mass.
