Phase 2 DB Primary Response

In this DB response I first will describe the configuration of the Hybrid Topologies. There are five different kinds of topologies. Witch type you use will depend on how much money you want to spend, how you want to set things up and how many CPUs you will be using on the network. It’s called hybrid topology because two different kind of wire network if needed, and can’t be set up by the conventional process. Setting up a hybrid topology has some good and bad perspectives. The good things are effectiveness, flexibility, it is reliable and scalable. Some of the bad things about the hybrid topology set up are, expensive infrastructure, and hub. Also it is a very complex way to set up a network. Now I will discuss some advantages and disadvantages of Hybrid Topologies. With a network you can set up with wires or wireless. Being wireless will help you to connect many devices including phones and printers. Being wireless gives you the choice to move around more without having to worry about how long your wires are or how tangled they are. Also if you have a wireless connection is that you will not have problems with the signal it’s always there. You can run a wire 100 meters before you would need to boost your signal. With a wired connection you will have more speed. The wire is made of copper this makes it last a long time and wire is more secure, everyone knows that security is very important on any computer. The equipment for a wired connection is cheaper so while the wires cost more the equipment cost less.
