Every time refer to beauty, Notre Dame De Paris comes into my mind. Esmeralda and Quasimodo are good examples of physical beauty and inner beauty. Both of them are lucky because they have at least one of the characteristics. In my opinion, either physical beauty or inner beauty is significant.
Like the majority of people, I am usually attracted by fashion beauty when walking on street. As we can see, physical beauty can be easily recognized. Many people could make a living by virtue of it. There are several grand fashion shows in New York every year, a variety of super models will converge in Manhattan during that time. Another good example is Victoria’s Secret, the company hire many beautiful girls to work for the advertisement. The appearance is more and more important especially in career field. Many managers consider a man is unable to do the work well if he can not deal with his dressing, so they prefer the good-looking and neat employees. In accordance with the survey, the group of charming and attractive lawyers’ income is 14% higher than their colleagues who are not so good-looking. So it is obvious that physical beauty is quite useful and important.
This is how I consider about physical beauty; however, as I said, inner beauty is also significant.

Unlike physical beauty, inner beauty is hardly recognized. Excellent characteristics are not only attractive appearance such as dressing and hairstyle, but also the inner beauty such as confidence, patience and honesty. These qualities may not be recognized in a short time, but only if they are accepted, it is really helpful to strengthen the relationship with others. Think about the artists or politicians with disability, they’ve made great contributions to the world. Even though they have no physical beauty, they are widely respected by people just because of their inner beauty.
In accordance with the morality of the culture in my country, I can

Ethnocentrism is a concept that is referred to a lot in “Society Explained” by Nathan Rousseau. The author describes ethnocentrism as when we think that what we know and are used to is better or more right than something new that is put in front of us. This concept can be applied to many life events. For example ethnocentrism can be applied to my life when talking about college and picking which school I wanted to go to.…

The common physical beauty is what Elaine Scarry called “a symmetry of everyone’s relation to one another” in her book called On Beauty and Being Just (1999). This means that beautiful subjects or objects are evenly proportioned and ideal in all their forms. In other words, if symmetry is perfection, then beauty is perfection too. At the same time, as absolute symmetry does not exist- beauty is a divine feature of “chosen”. Meanwhile, I have my own interpretation of physical beauty. This is the idea of beauty that is not just a physical appearance of a person or object. This is the universal “beauty” I was talking about in the introduction of the paper. In my opinion, physical beauty that relates to the beauty of objects or subjects…

In today’s younger, trendy, fashion stores, people are being hired for their looks and less because of their brains. Marshal Cohen, a senior industry analyst, argues about why hiring better looking people helps a store’s environment. Making a certain brand more desirable to buy, meaning the company shall make more money. Stores such as Abercrombie and Fitch have already set their image using this technique and have become quite successful. Hiring attractive people is not illegal, but it is indeed useful and profitable.…

Be attractive and don't be unattractive. Since I acknowledged the men’s fashion industry, I have heard the above phrase many times. The BBC’s The Human Face documentary revealed ways surgeons and fashion recruiters searched and analyzed for beauty. The most interesting aspects of the documentary were the universal characteristics beautiful people have in common, the link between beauty and youth and health, and Pythagoras’ golden ratio.…

I did my research on McDonald's a global organization that has had a few cultural issues that affects them when growing outside the United States. So as we all know McDonald's is a fast food company, they started in the United States in 1940 as a barbecue restaurant. In 1948 they took a look at the restaurant and choice to change what they made and sold. They moved to a production line principle and start to make hamburger. McDonald's became a franchise in 1955 when businessman Ray Kroc purchased the chain from the McDonald brothers and started its worldwide growth. The thing that most do not know is that they our operated by a franchisee, an affiliate, or the corporation itself. Right now McDonald's restaurants are found in 119 countries around the world and they serve about 68 million customers each day, so they have had to deal with many different cultural issues. I think two issues that they have had to work through that was hard were opening in India and the outlook that they and other fast food places are the reason for fatter people.…

Although it may seem vain, appearance is very important to many employers when searching for employees of all levels. Many search for a specific type of “look,” and will often offer a higher salary to those who fit within their ideal appearance. For instance, what one wears to an interview could affect if she receives a job placement or not. Biases like this are part of the reason for the large pay gap between women.…

Beauty is something that can be interpreted completely different from person to person. A famous quote that goes along with this perfectly is “beauty is in the eye of the beholder.” I think a person’s inner beauty should be taken into account when deciding whether or not a person is beautiful. Wikipedia’s definition of beauty is, “a characteristic of a person, animal, place, object, or idea that provides a perceptual experience of pleasure or satisfaction” while Oxford Dictionary states, “beauty is a combination of qualities, such as shape, color, or form, that pleases the aesthetic senses, especially sight.” As you can see, inner beauty could be paired with Wiki’s definition and outer beauty could be paired with Oxfords. Of course, there is no way of telling which definition is more correct, but, for the majority of today’s society, outer beauty seems to be the primary focus.…

Inner beauty, on the other hand, doesn't usually diminish the physical attributes of an individual, unless the person judging the beauty is shallow and only enjoys the physical beauty of an individual. A lot of times, the inner beauty, or personality, of someone outshines the physical beauty. How many times have you seen someone that is not necessarily physically "good looking" win you over as a friend based on their personality? Humor, kindness and communication skills are important assets in determining your inner beauty.…

Many people have heard of the old saying that “beauty comes from within.” Although beauty is difficult to define due to differential views, the majority of people may agree that it is a person’s personality that makes them beautiful. According to Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary, beauty is“the quality of being physically attractive.” Although this definition is somewhat true, it is not all that defines the term. Due to a new uprising in pop culture, beauty is now defined only by the attractive, physical traits a person has. Also, this generation attempts to sell beauty as a vapid and superficial pursuit that exists solely to sell products and wag tongues. Beauty is actually precisely identified, purposeful, and has…
