An interesting example that proves accuracy is an important ingredient to survival is the tip of the right man’s arrow.
The only way they would be able to get off the island is if they can aim perfectly to get the helicopters attention, so their future depends on a single shots. The tip of his arrow is the focal point in this photo because when you see the picture, your eyes immediately are drawn it. It is the focal point because the way the photographer took the picture almost everything is darker around it and the fact the arrow is yellow makes it stand out more. Also, the arrow need to be precise when fired because it would better their chances of
survival. Another great example in this photo that proves the key to survival is through precision is the exact moment the picture was taken. One archer is fully drawn back and ready to fire at the target (the helicopter), and the other shooter doesn’t even have his bow drawn all the way. If the archer with the bow drawn back fully and wants a chance to really live, then he must be accurate with his shot. Whereas the man with the bow not drawn back all the way has a decision to make, is he going to go full draw and aim for survival, or is he going to put the bow down and chose a different path. The time the photo was taken really proves that survival is all about precision because one may want to aim and hit the target and that would be their chances of survival, but the other man’s vision of survival may be the precise and accurate choice of living amongst the land. In conclusion, precision is the key to survival is shown in the photo “Helicopter in Sight”.
