Pilots use slopes in everyday life. One way pilots use slope is to determine where to land and when to put the wheels down on a aircraft. If the slope isn't matched up to the line of measurement, it will shift the landing making it harder to land correctly and safe. When flying, the pilot has to learn and interpret the percentage of putting down …show more content…
The pilot has to change the direction by changing the angle of the plane, but if turned to much you will go the wrong way. They also have to map out the ground speed, because the higher the ground speed is the higher the plane goes. Sloping is one of the most important things of knowing how to fly an aircraft, without slopes pilots wouldn’t know where or how to fly the plane. Slope is one of the many things you need to know about flying any kind of aircraft.
Pilots need many other skills to be able to do their job. One skill is leadership, because if there is a problem you need to take charge of the problem and correct it. The second skill is the pilot needs to know how to work the aircraft, without knowing the aircraft how would you fly it. The third skill is you need to make fast decisions and have communications skills, for the safety of yourself and everyone else on the plane. The fourth skill is you have to be calm and have self-confidence. There are many other skills you need but I listed some of the most
