his team to get better. Robert Morris had three conference Championships and two N.C.A.A. tournament appearances. That's proof that his methods worked. They became a better man and better player from their experience.” said Haas.
Justin Haas had a good point, Mike Rice just wanted his players to get better. He may have had a “fiery approach” to things but that just shows he cares. It’s not only Mike Rice that cares, about his team. There are many coaches out there who would do anything to help their team. Another example of a coach in Texas that not only helps his team get better at the sport but also at their education. The coach put some rules in place that the players must follow, here are some examples. Players must attend their classes in the front rows. A player will run until he hurts in he misses a class. Miss two classes that players whole position unit will run. The players cannot use their phones in class. Women must have with respect. There will be no tolerance to drugs or crime. All these rules are excellent reasons that show that coaches care. The rules may seem tough but the coach only wants what is best for the players. This also shows that the coach doesn’t only care about how his team plays, but also how their education is. Some coaches yell at their players which cause them to feel doubtful of himself. An NBA coach once called his player “The next Shawn Bradley” because he wanted him to have motivation. These all prove that Coaches want the best in their players. Coaches should have control over their players because they want the best out of
them.
