Plot Summary Of The Flubber
Professor Philip Brainard (Robin Williams) he works at the Medfield College and is trying to develop a new energy source, to try to raise enough money to save the college from closing. His research distracts him from his fiancée the college president Sara Jean Reynolds (Marcia Gay Harden); he has missed two weddings in the past and this has angered Sara. On the day of the third wedding, Philip is approached by his former partner Wilson Croft (Christopher McDonald), who has profited from ideas he has stolen from the chemist and now desires to steal Sara from Philip. Before the wedding, his latest experiment shows fast development, so he forcing him self to miss another wedding.

The he created a green goo like substance that increases in speed as it bounces and proves to be difficult to control, it get out and wreaks havoc on the neighborhood before he finally manages to capture it. Weebo (voiced by Jodi Benson), Philip's hovering robot assistant, classifies the substance as

But Hoenicker finds out about the Flubber's existence and sends his body guards Smith and Wesson to Philip's house to steal Flubber. Weebo tries to tell off the henchmen, but gets struck down by Wesson with a baseball bat. Philip and Sara return home and find Weber, Philip’s house-robot cleaning up, Weebo destroyed on the floor and Flubber gone. Later, Philip discovers that Weebo had downloaded back-up data of herself onto his computer so Philip attempts to make a new Weedo. Then Philip and Sara confront Hoenicker and try to retrieve Flubber, but they discover that Wilson has allied with the millionaire. After a little battle, Philip and Sara defeat Wilson, Bennett, Hoenicker and his henchmen, they get Flubber back, and they raise enough money to save the college and finally get to try for a successful marriage, along with Flubber and the "daughter" of Weebo, called

    The play starts out in the bedroom of Brick and Maggie, where Maggie is complaining to Brick about how Mae is making her monstrous children perform for Big Daddy. She goes on to rant about how Mae and Gooper are trying to cut them out of Big Daddy’s estate. Big Mama bursts in and screams the news that Big Daddy isn’t dying of cancer but only has a spastic colon. Once she leaves, Maggie informs Brick that the doctors lied to Big Daddy and Big Mama about Big Daddy’s condition and that he really is dying. Meanwhile Brick is hobbling around with an ankle injury he got from trying to jump hurdles at the high school while drunk the night before.
