Plumbing Persuasive Essay
Schools all over the country are finding lead in their water. This is mostly due to old buildings with old plumbing. It wasn’t until 1986 that lead plumbing was banned(still allows 8 percent lead) so any school built before then is at a greater risk.Schools also are not required to test their own water unless they have a well so the contamination can go completely unnoticed. Once a school finds lead in the water there isn’t much they can because they just don’t have the money to put in entirely new plumbing. There definitely needs to be regulation put in place that makes schools test their own water. It's ridiculous that they are not required to test water that little kid are drinking. I am glad that schools are not just overlooking this and
