Project management plan is the records of all the processes and procedures that are in effect to provide information to project team, manage the scope, costs, time and quality of the project.
Introduction.
2.1 Project description.
Project description introduces about the project. It specifies the area covered under this project. It also states the customer requirements and the detail elements covered in the database. 2.2 Project sponsors.
Sponsor’s detail includes the name and contact number and email address, which is not sufficient. There should always be a back up contact details in his absence. 2.3 Project manager and team details.
Team details include all the contact detail of each and every team member. Every detail should be in the table starting from role, name, organization/position, email etc. 2.4 Deliverables.
Project management deliverables are most important as this are the key features for the successful completion of the project. This key feature includes Initiation, Planning, Controlling, and Closing. Product related deliverables include the items which are directly used for the making of end product like hardware, and software.
2.5 Reference detail.
Reference detail includes the listing of all the references which are used to make this project easier as we all know referencing is the main part of any document.
Definitions.
Definition provide a better idea on some of the difficult words. It should involve the acronyms or the definitions of the technical or technological words used in the project.
3.0 Organization. 3.1 Organization charts.
This includes the members such as project manager, team leaders also the different groups working on the projects. Organization chart give the schematic presentation of the team including CEO to all members. An organization chart looks like below. 3.2 Project responsibilities.
