POC documentation refers to the ability of physicians and nurses to document the clinical information of a patient as they interact together or during delivery of care to the patients. This is done using electronic health records (EHR) which has been widely adopted by health care facilities, and thy use some devices for the point of care documentation. The purpose of this paper is to discuss electronic health record devices that are used to document point of care. The paper further discusses the advantages and disadvantages of electronic health records which are being used at the point of care.
