“To serve and protect” is the motto officers abide by when they take the job of an officer.Our country is grounded on the same morales. For as long as this country has been colonized it has had a legal justice system, to make our country fair and regimented. The police force was meant for good it was meant to help and improve us as a united front. Even though, they are trying their hardest and trying to insure your safety,Police are taking their power or authority too serious and hurting or killing people. Alton was killed for selling Cd’s they presumed that he was going to shoot his way out of the situation but as it clearly states he wasn’t going for the gun, because of his death Baton Rouge had a huge rally they protested our justice system our justice system. Sandra bland how about her? She was killed after being detained. Sandra was pulled over for a minor traffic issue yet was detained for resisting arrest and she later died in jail. That is a sad way to die Sandra had so much life left to live she was told to be an interesting person. Philando castile wasn't a world wide person much like the other two yet his death was just as traumatic maybe even more traumatic. Philando was killed in front of his girlfriend and four-year old daughter. He told the officer the he was licenced to carry a gun and very well and one with him and as he was reaching for his ID he was shot several times. Jaquar Mathis this is closest to my heart. Jaquar was a good kid most of his life it took one slip and and a close encounter with an officer and that ruined his entire life , beacuse one one lowly night he made one bad choice that took his whole life away. Jaquar was killed harshly they sent K-9’s to attempt to catch and when the dogs got a good grip on him they killed him and on
