“Children are our future.” It’s a phrase we hear often, but it is often used without a full understanding of the implications. “Children are our future” means that children are our priority. Right now, we have some of the lowest test scores in Europe. Not only that, our math and science scores were around 20 pointed lower than the EU average. That is not making children our priority.
So what changed over the last thirty years? For one thing, a high percentage of the UK’s budget has been allocated to parks, recreation, and beautification. Not to say that money was wasted, but pristine streets won’t help our students compete at a national level when it comes time to picking a college.
We need a drastic new approach before it’s too late. If we do things the way that they’ve always been done, then things will remain the way that they’ve always been. And that, at this point, means a continued decline in the quality of public education. Not meeting state standards is completely unacceptable. Don’t let it get any worse.
So, how we can solve this problem:
Well, one genius Idea was to increase the time children have to stay at school. But, if the children reach 16 without reaching standard they will have to go to an improvement collage. These improvement collages will be setup all over the country about 1,000 to be exactly, each offering different courses.
These improvements collages are specialised in making young adults reach their dream jobs. They will specialise in different subjects, so each collage will offer different courses and the young adults will each come out with grades they want, but did not achieve at school. All the collages, bar a few, will be absolutely free.
Another idea mentioned was to train the teachers to a higher level of standard. For instants training for longer and this will result in are children being better educated, by giving out this training
