Portman Square is another important central London square which its centre garden still remains private and compact with many interesting stories. Portman square lies north of Oxford Street in Marylebone, with shaded private garden by London plane tree and also have a wide grass court, winding paths, informal planting and a tennis court. The square also included in the Grade II-listed 1878 as Hamilton Memorial drinking fountain that was donated by Lady Hamilton through the Drinking Fountain and Cattle Trough Association.
