Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to identify positive effects of Korean reunification. The Korean reunification refers to the hypothetical future reunification of North Korea and South Korea under a single government. The process towards this was initiated by the June 15th North-South Joint Declaration in August 2000, where the two nations agreed to make efforts towards a peaceful reunification in the future time. However, there are difficulties in this process due to the great political and economic difference between the two Koreas and other related countries such as the USA, Japan, China, and Russia. This paper was designed for the readers to explore circumstances of modern Korean society.
