Fredrickson, Ph.D., received her Bachelors of Psychology at Carlton College. In 1990 Fredrickson, Ph.D., attended Stanford University where she earned a Ph.D. in Social Psychology. After teaching at the University of Michigan for about 10 years, Dr. Barbara L. Fredrickson is as of now a, Counselor, Social Psychologist and Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with arrangements in Psychology and the Kenan-Flagler School of Business.
