It was about Hitler using his power of words to rule, and soon, his words turned into trees, but Max and Liesel’s bond grew further than any of Hitler’s word trees did. Max was able to evoke emotions of love and friendship out of Liesel, even if it was through a book. Max and Liesel’s story is just one example, but books, poems, the internet, music, and much more can be used to spread the power of words as well. When people have favorite songs or poems, it is usually of the words that evoke certain emotions out the reader. They are able to relate to what the author is talking about, thus resonating with them.
