I believe as it says in the bible in Mathew 18:20 God is there and praying together is powerful. I will also speak in tongues while praying, whilst at times it can be uncomfortable praying in a group with different people it is also very rewarding, seeing how our prayer can be a simple prayer or an in-depth and intense prayer they all make a difference.
A corporate experience
As a church we have in the past and we are starting again praying as a church regularly. We have always had individual prayer meetings but as a whole church praying for our city, the lost and for things to come. I love it how it is still very relaxed, we can walk around, sit quietly or just stand praying. We can pray out loud or we can pray quietly. We meet together at the church for half an hour or an hour and pray about for the needs and our city and how we as a church can reach the lost.
