President Franklin Delano Roosevelt's Impact On The United States Of America

President Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s first one hundred days in office can be simplified into two words through the cooperation of congress called the “New Deal.” The New Deal was the President's way of bring aid about the Great Depression. He was able to institute great associations, organizations, and acts like the Civil Conservation Corps (CCC), and Public Works Association (PWA), and the Social Security Act (SSA) which were able to help get people and workers to retain money and jobs. These things, all instituted by the New Deal greatly impacted the citizens of the United States of America by giving them jobs to get food, shelter, and countless other necessities for life, in which they were previously deprived of. These jobs to President Roosevelt were “to be used in simple work, not interfering with normal employment, and confining itself to forestry, the prevention of soil erosion, flood control, and similar projects” (Brett 1). President Roosevelt here is explaining how these jobs were simple, and did not need a rocket scientist credentials. He also states that these jobs would be benefiting the future America and the “Go Green” outlooking United States of America. The CCC also helped the average American get a job in which he could do these such things to make money, which was an enormous motive for joining the corps. The New Deal correctly targeted what needed to be put in place with keeping the benefit of the people in mind. The New Deal and its product of the Civil Conservation Corps was able to come in and adjust an alternative way to coming about the great depression and in doing so, giving the future America a better start on jobs that would improve more than one individual’s life, rather the American people as a whole.
