Reflection: Diana’s reflection letter is good, because she does all that is asked to do for every strategy. While there are some grammatical errors and some sentences are a little confusing, she explains each writing and reading strategy perfectly. The objective is to name, define, and apply each of the strategies and she does that. It is really noticeable that her tone throughout the portfolio is to inform and has drive. For example, when she explains how The Little Mermaid is following the same bad stereotype that is in almost every Disney movie, her tone is firm and makes the reader know that she has a lot of knowledge about this issue. To me, it looks like she follows most of the requirements needed for this genre. In her reflection letter, she meets all three objectives, and in her textual analysis essay, she also does what is asked of her. The only minor negative thing I saw is that the summary in her textual analysis essay should have been
