Management is the process of reaching organizational goals by working with and through the people. It’s a function which coordinates the effort of people to reach the goals and objectives by using the available resources effectively and efficiently. The main aim of management is to create corporate policies, organizing, planning, controlling and directing organizational resources in order to achieve the objectives of that policy. In the words of Robert H. Hilkert he has defined management as an art as well as science. Management is an art as it has practical knowledge. The knowledge of management can only be learned by practice and experience. As a science the management has to follow some principles which are universally applicable to all the organization. The concept of management is based on the basis of observation, research, analysis and experimentation.
