This Course Project will provide you with practical experience in applying the skills, tools, and methodologies contained in the coursework for PROJ592. You will be generating a detailed project plan, including a project work breakdown structure, schedule, and cost estimate to justify the project, and then use these tools to monitor, control, and forecast results of your project. In Part 1 (CP-1), you will select a project which requires sufficient tasks and detail to demonstrate your understanding of course concepts. In Part 2 (CP-2), you will be provided details for a new project.
Both parts of the Course Project require modest use of Microsoft Project software which is available in the iLab under Course Home. Use these tutorials and content from the Student Resources tab to help you with the Course Project Assignment.

The company has two division’s personal computers and business computers.
The personal computer division manufactures personal computers. Customers access the website and place the orders or call the toll free number. The company is known for their high quality and speed of delivery. The company has stiff competition from Dell, HP, and other computer vendors. Last year the personal computer earned $800 million in net revenue, while the business computing division earned $1 billion in net revenue. Sales are expected to fall slightly in the next year.
