BACKGROUND
1.1 CULTURE
Culture according to Piddington is the total sum of both material and intellectual knowledge whereby they are able to live up to their biological and social needs and also adapt themselves to their environment (Ayisi, 1992). Culture is very important in a society such as Nigeria as the values that are filled into individual’s mind through an environment during growing up will transform one’s deeds, culture also exhibits its importance when individuals interacts with one another in the community and beyond. 1.2 CULTURAL DIVERSITY
Cultural Diversity is a range of different societies or peoples with different origins, race, ethnic group, language, nationality, sexual orientation, religions and traditions all living and interacting together(Baumuller, 2007) when there is diversity in culture people tends to think differently based on the environment they have been exposed to
