Complainant is entitled to get Rs. 30,000/- as compensation and the complainant also entitled to get Rs. 5000/- for irresponsible act of the respondent.
14. That this Hon’ble Forum under the Consumer Protection Act has jurisdiction to try and entertain the present complaint.

PRAYER In view of the above submissions, it is most respectfully prayed that the Hon’ble Forum may graciously be pleased to direct the respondent: I. To issue the rectify electricity bills as per actual meter reading or consumption and remove word ‘faulty’ since levy and correct the address of the complainant in record/electricity Bill. II. To direct the respondent not to recover the amount of bill till its final decision and further respondent be restrain not to disconnect the electricity in the premises of complainant due to non-payment till to final decision. III. To grant compensation for harassing and mental agony to the complainant in the tune of Rs. 30,000/- the complainant also entitled to get Rs. 5000/- for the irresponsible act of the respondent. IV. To grant the cost of the litigation expenses in the tune of Rs. 7000/-. V. To pass any other/further order(s)/relief(s) as this Hon’ble Forum may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice.
