Human resource development has in recent years become the focus of attention of planner’s policy makers and administration .Human resource development may be defined as the process of increasing the knowledge, skills and capacities of people. It is important not only for an enterprise but for a nation to develop its human resources. A country can develop only when its human resources are developed through health, nutrition, education training and research. At the enterprise level, employee training and executive development are main areas of human resource development .We generally see that when a new machine is installed in a factory, it is operated on trial basis before going into actual production. “Just as equipment needs a breaking in period, a new employ also needs a training period to adjust to the new environment”.
As per training program I visited all the departments and questionnaire methods were adopted to collect the information required to “Effectiveness of Training and Development Programme” in the Speedomax Ltd.
