Introduction
It is Premier College’s policy to maintain complete, accurate and high quality records. Records are to be retained for the period of their immediate use, unless longer retention is required for historical reference, contractual, legal or regulatory requirements or for other purposes as may be set forth below. Records that are no longer required, or have satisfied their required periods of retention, shall be destroyed. No officer, director, employee, contractor or volunteer of Premier College shall knowingly destroy a document with the intent to obstruct or influence the investigation or proper administration of any matter within the jurisdiction of any government department or agency or in relation to or contemplation of any such matter or case. This policy covers all records and documents of Premier College. Premier College reserves the right to amend, alter and terminate this policy at any time.
Policy
Premier College, retains records for the period of their immediate or current use, unless longer retention is necessary for historical reference or to comply with contractual or legal requirements. Material of historical interest should be retained in perpetuity to preserve important information about the organization.
To comply with various federal and state regulations, many records must be kept for specified periods of time. This policy establishes the minimum period for which records must be retained. Once the records have served their purpose and the regulatory requirements have been satisfied, these materials should be disposed of in an appropriate manner. Electronic Documents and Records
Records and documents outlined in this policy include paper, electronic files (including email) and voicemail records regardless of where the document is
