1. Ginger extract cannot be an effective hair loss solution
2. There is no any significant effect of using this product in terms of: 1.1 odor
1.2 color
Procedures
The researchers gathered the gingers at Poblacion Bansud Oriental Mindoro. The gathered gingers were washed thoroughly to remove unnecessary particles attached to it. After preparing the needed materials and equipment, gingers were peeled. The peeled gingers were cut into smaller pieces. Then extraction was done by blending 400 ml of cutted gingers and One-hundred fifty ml of hot water. Repetition of this process was made to get its extract and to make sure that there was no succulent part left. When it is already extracted the researcher poured the finish product into a small, clean empty container, sealed tightly and stored in a cool place.
Data Analysis Fifteen respondents used the experimental solution. The test was then conducted to determine the acceptability of ginger extract as anti-hair loss. Ten ml. of experimental solution for hair loss were prepared. Ten respondents who were the researcher’s neighbors and relatives were selected. They were given an evaluation sheets and were asked to evaluate and rate the experimental solution in terms of color and odor using a 5-Point scale. The respondents were instructed to utilize the scale: 1-needs improvement, 2-moderately satisfied, 3-satisfied, 4-good and 5-excellent. The evaluation sheets were collected and used to analyze the result and data gathered. Ten respondents are selected to test the experimental product.
