Pros and Cons of Having Stress
Modern life with a lot of work makes people always busy, have not enough time to rest. For many people, having stress is a part of their lives. For me, when I did Capstone project last summer, it was the first time I had such terrible stress. My team, with 5 people, had 3 months to do, but when only one month left, 50% of work was done. We were behind schedule. To complete it on time, we had to work together for about 8 hours at university and 4 hours at home per day. Many deadlines were set, too. We had to work under pressure: many things to finish, time for sleeping is not enough, made us tired, angry, and difficult to concentrate. After 1 week, although the work was carried out smoothly, we could meet the deadlines, but the health and spirit of the team is not good. The group sat down together and discussed to solve the problem: make detail plan for each day, took 15 minutes off every 2 working hours. In the end of each day, we had 30 minute meeting to schedule for the next day and find how to work more effectively. At home, members can find out the related documents. The sleeping and entertainment are high priority. Finally, graduation thesis completed before the period of 3 days with good quality. I think stress is not entirely bad, stress is not always bad. In small doses, it can help you Perform under pressure and motivate you to do your
