A. Gain the audience’s attention: Since 2012, the legalization of recreational marijuana has begun in certain states. Several studies have shown that recreational marijuana has more negative health effects to individuals and vice versa.
B. Thesis: The use of marijuana is on the rise as some states have legalized it for recreational use, so it is important to learn the health effects of it along with the pros and cons before forming an opinion whether it should be legalized or not.
