King did not expect for his night to become a disaster after having a wonderful time out with friends. Although driving under the influence in any state is illegal; what made this particular case make the front page of multiple news articles? King led officers on a high- speed chase endangering the lives of others. King has been in trouble before and tried to escape a DUI charge because he would have gone down for violating parole. Each officer during the time of this stop was Caucasian and excessively overused their authority. Was this an act of racism? In addition, footage was recorded and sent in.
