Sacrifices and offerings are not what You want, but You’ve opened my ears, and now I understand. Burnt offerings and sin offerings are not what please You. So I said, “See, I have come to do Your will, as it is inscribed of me in the scroll. I am pleased to live how You want, my God. Your law is etched into my heart and my soul.”

He gains renewed hope and clarity of vision. He sees life in a whole new light. He understands doing God’s will is better than doing his own will. His place of desperation and weakness is his place of brokenness. This is where we all need to come to get to that place of perfect peace and experience the Holy Spirit’s supernatural flow. Even in this passage of scripture, you can see the dynamic of this elevation of heart and spirit happening. He’s being revived. New life is flowing through his heart, mind, will and emotions. He bursts forth into praise and declares the glory of God and he comprehends what God is saying to him. As he does this, something else happens. He sees something. He continues on to say, “See, I have come to do Your will, as it is inscribed of me in the scroll.” He hears the prayers of God for his life. He not only hears them but he sees them. These prayers of God and the desires of God’s heart for David’s life are written in these amazing scrolls. This is powerful for you and me because we can clearly see David’s breakthrough of peace bursting forth and becoming a weapon of peace against the enemy with which he could war and attack him and possess God’s hearts desire for his life. I strongly believe that David had a revelation of God’s weapon of peace and he longed and panted for that place in God all the time. He knew it was a place of power, a place of authority, a place of his destiny coming to pass and a place of great intimacy with God. When you see God’s prayers for your life being written in scroll form, the devil is dead meat. Why do you think the devil attacks us with so much doubt and unbelief, trying to do everything he can to prevent us from “seeing” the revelation from God we so desperately need? We will not only rise with new authority to demand the enemy to comply with the decrees written in our scrolls,
