1.1 Manipulating existing products
To manipulate an existing product is to improve on the product or service. It’s an easier and more cost effective way than other methods. Business ideas can be generated in the process of improving the existing product. In the process of improving and research of the product, a more productive product can be found or even a new product which is more effective can be found. Even with a service there is always a way to better the service for it to be more effective. Ideas are generated in the process of improvement.
1.2 Attribute analysis
Attributes and features of existing products and services are listed and analyzed in order to find a way to improve an existing product or service. Business ideas can be generated by the knowledge of knowing what each feature and attribute is and focusing on each one individual. By focusing on individual features and attributes a more effective product and service can be supplied or given and the product can be more effective in every single feature and attribute.
1.3 Existing products
By knowing the existing product in every way it is possible to find new ways to utilize or use the existing product or service in a more effective way. The existing product can be used for new ideas or services in a better way.
1.4 Brainstorming
Generate as many ideas as possible. After every idea thought of is listed and no ideas can be added, all the ideas are evaluated and only the feasible ones are kept. After the feasible ideas researched and evaluated normally there is a strategic way or idea to improve the product or a new product which is more effective is found.
1.5 Metaphorical analogy
Solutions to specific problems to solve analogous problems in different contexts. By finding solutions to similar problems, it is possible to find solutions to the problems at hand. The similar problem serves as a metaphor for finding solutions to the problem at
