Introduction:
In this assignment I am going to be explaining the role of psychological perspectives within health and social care practices.
Health care practices are responsible for maintaining and restoring health with treatment. They are also responsible for the prevention of diseases. This usually would be carried out by trained and licensed professionals within the health care department such a public health, dentistry, medicine clinical psychology, hospital, nurses etc. Hospitals are primarily for the provision of health care, caring and treating the sick or injured, restoring them back to health as well as they can. Hospitals have many different health professionals such as oncologists, physiotherapists, nurses, doctors and special care treatment.
Social care practices strive to provide care in helping people to live their lives to the highest possible quality. This may be for those who require 24 hour care in moving, eating, personal hygiene and housekeeping or it may be for those who require just a small amount of practical help. This will enable these people to be able to live comfortably and achieve the furthest possibilities they can in their life. This kind of work is often provided in care homes by care workers to children in care by social workers and also occupational therapists who help turn homes into more liveable environments.

The basic umbrella for this perspective is that a large quantity of our behavioural actions are driven by the unconscious part of our mind. For this reason I believe it is important to be able to recognise that not all of what the patient is
