LEARNING JOURNAL UNIT 3
READING ASSIGNMENT
On Thursday, I download and print all the reading assignment materials, what allow me to read the information all along the week. I read the materials assigned for this week. Through my reading I learned the two methods in order to organize the ideas before programming; flowcharting and pseudocode. Also I stalled the program “Dia” and I could work on it, I do not think that it is a good program; I think it could be more intuitive, my plan is to develop something that can help me to work with flowcharts.
THE PROGRAMMING ASSIGNMENT
I used the ‘Dia’ program to prepare my assignment, and after to finish my work I converted the file to jpeg and pasted the file inside the word text processor.

Pseudocode and flowcharting.
2. How to create a diagram to prepare my work before programming.
I identify myself with the flowcharts technique, because it gives me a global overview about my work and is easier to identify error during the process.
3. The quiz.
Finally, I tested my knowledge through the quizzes. I think that it is a good tool to test, to remember, also to fix the concepts that we learned during the week, but I did not like to memorize the dates and names relative the computer history.
MY FINAL IMPRESSION IN RELATION TO THE ACTIVITY
This week was good, because the content to study was in a good proportion, which allowed me to deepen in python. Though some exercises, I discovered how I can open, edit and read a document, using commands in Python. I urge to learn this language as soon as possible, because at present I am unemployed and my resources finished. I need to sell my house in order to try a better life abroad, but unfortunately, in my country, the economic situation is not easy. This situation does not consent me to focus my attention in my studies without
