Apparently, I was not the only one who had thought that this was just a routine check on the company’s statistics.
“The government has recently contacted me on a matter of importance,” Swoland said. He had everyone’s rapt attention now. If the government was getting involved, this had to be big.
“As you may know, the world has been dealing with the problems involved with over population for some time now. The government had asked us to help them… Well… keep it under control.” The CEO fidgeted nervously while he said this. I saw looks of confusion on people's’ faces over the room. ‘What was he getting at?’ I thought.
“In other words,” Swoland continued, see the confused faces, “The government has asked us to poison some of our water bottles to keep the population down.” The CEO stated bluntly. ‘What?! How can he even think of murdering all those people?” I thought, thoroughly horrified by the suggestion.

I looked at the clock. It was only 8:00. I still had 5 hours left. I went into my black and white themed bedroom and set my phone alarm for 12:25. That would give me enough time to get all my things in order and drive the 15 minutes to the factory. I should arrive there right on time.
