It seems like many people get offended if someone doesn’t agree with them. It’s okay if people don’t agree with you, but they should respect your opinions. It’s okay to voice your opinion and to oppose other opinions. Karoline Ott states that having an opinion in 2016 should not be as hard as it is. She wrote an article about feminism to see how to public reacts and she got a plethora of negative comments. She got negative comments because she voiced her opinion on the internet. Hillary states, “More than 33,000 Americans are killed by guns each year. It’s time to act. As President, I’ll take on the gun lobby and fight for common sense reforms to keep guns away from terrorists, domestic abusers, and other violent criminals- including comprehensive background checks and closing loophole that allow guns to fall into the wrong hands.” Many people are concerned about this, and don’t want Hillary Clinton to become president because of this. I recently conducted a survey about gun control from my friends and families, and 23/35 people say that they think more gun control is needed. Out of those 23 people, a astonishing 15 people said they do not want Hillary Clinton to become president because of her views on gun control and they think that she will take it too far.
