Racism In The United States Essay
Do you know the United States is slowly dying? It’s true I personally believe that we as a nation are headed in the wrong direction, because we have 3 main problems in the US right now. Those 3 problems are Disrespect, Police Brutality, and Racism.

Racism is a huge problem in US history if not the biggest problem in history. One person had a stand to end racism by taking a knee during the national anthem and people hated on him and called him disrespectful. That person was an NFL player and felt that the US was still segregated because no one was being felt and treated equally compared to others because of their color of skin. So if people don’t like someone not standing for the national anthem because they don’t the think US is equal, is

Recently Police have been abusing people because of their color when they have their hands in the air they still decide to shoot and kill them. What I believe the real problem is is when the police kill people and get no jail time. This is a big problem because police over abuse their power as well, for instance they shoot, kill, and break the law. If a normal citizen were to do that they would get over 25+ years in prison but for police that’s ok? Another problem in the US.

The last point is Disrespect. Multiple people in the US are disrespectful and call other people names based on their looks and other various things. What I mean is like the Racism problem when people called the NFL player disrespectful when they were actually being disrespectful.

So in conclusion I talked about how Racism, Police Brutality, and Disrespect are problems in the US. You have to remember this is the world we live in and even if you aren’t affected by these, people are affected by these. Just imagine if you were in their shoes how would you feel. For example if everyone would stop being like this for 1 day you would see a huge in the society we live in today. Thank you for listening to my

Racism has changed overtime, and as a nation we have recognized it. However, I feel there are some acts that sets us back quite a bit that continues to divide us as a class, race, and even gender. There are some people that still can’t accept the fact that we are trying, “to make America again”, but we can’t make it great again until we learn how to resolve the real issues; race. Based on the readings, we learned about the culture, symbolism, & stereotypes that have shaped this nation. Though, racism is continuing to change overtime, I feel that there is still that division.…

The United States has had a very eventful past when it comes to racism. Many Americans would say that we have come a long way from our past, and racism does not exist in our country anymore. This is not true. America has come a long way since the beginning, but we still have racism. The author of To Kill A Mockingbird, Harper Lee, has a great way of pointing out our issues with racism in the past. She shows the injustice of how blacks were treated in society. Our country isn’t quite like that anymore, but blacks are still very unjustified in American society today. Racism still exists in our country and our racism is still like the racism in the book To Kill A Mockingbird.…

American Equality has really changed throughout the years. People used to be very rude to people of the opposite race or if they looked different. It is not as bad now as it used to be but you still see people getting made fun of. It is sad when people get bullied over something they did not get to choose. American Equality is how everyone is treated, everyone should be treated equally, but clearly not everyone is.…

Racism is a belief that one person is better than other because of their skin color, language or their birth place. Racism has existed throughout human history and it’s still going on today. I believe it because I am a Muslim and after 9/11 Muslim Americans faced negative stereotypes expressed by society and became objects of suspicion. My dad was one of them. My dad was told to shave his beard in order to work because beard is a symbol of a Muslim man. My father looked for other jobs but everywhere it was the same. So, he shaved it. This example might not be a very big deal, but it was in my family. So that’s why I strongly believe that America is still not making any progress about racism in twenty-first century but I am hopeful about…

Racism is a highly debated topic in the US. Just one look on the media will show you how people have different opinions on racism and how they react about it. Groups like Black Lives Matter have popped up. This because they believe racism is a growing issue in the US. Others believe it has gone down or is gone completely and people are just overreacting about it. I believe racism is an ongoing issue which is becoming worse because of media, how people grew up, where they grew and what myths they heard during their childhood.…

In conclusion, I think that police brutality, racial profiling, and justice not being given is a problem that should be fix right now. These thing I discuss in this article are real situations where I think will keep happening but if we address this situation more and break the crooked cops out there down and take it step by step we will lower the rate of black men getting killed by police officers. I won't be satisfied until no person is killed by a police officer for…

Police work is dangerous. Sometimes police put in situations that excessive force is needed. But, because some officers use these extreme measures in situations when it is not, police brutality occurs. I believe Police brutality needs to be addressed, because it affects every one of us within our society. How can we trust the Police officers who sworn to “serve the public” when they use such excessive force that results in homicide?…

Simply put, a representative democracy is a system of government in which all eligible citizens vote on representatives to pass laws for them. As Americans, we elect a president and members of Congress, and also elect local and state officials. All of these elected officials supposedly listen to the populace and do what is best for the nation, state or jurisdiction as a whole. Is this real autotomy of choice? If so does the hypocritical platform that America was founded upon affect our present day lives? Voting officials into office to make decisions for us does not constitute real freedom or liberty of choice. Every decision made in contemporary American government is affected and altered by the way American freedom was developed.…

Do you believe racism is still a problem today? Have you ever experienced or witnessed a racist act? Racism is the belief that all members of each race in the world today possess characteristics or abilities that pertain specifically to that race, especially to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races. Although, some people do not have any issues at all with the concept of racism; majority of people living in America deal with racism in their everyday lives. Racism and discrimination have been used as powerful weapons encouraging fear or hatred of others in times of conflict and even during economic downturns. This is very demoralizing because we are all human beings and of course every one of us…

The United States of America has undergone much in its brief 241 years of independence. In relation to other nations, the Untitled States is still very young, but that does not mean that it hasn’t experienced its fair share of obstacles. However, the amount of inequality among American citizens today is staggering, considering the country was founded by British colonists escaping inequality from England. The United States Declaration of Independence states that “all men are created equally”, these ideals are the foundations of our country. These beliefs are what we use as evidence when praising our country on events such as independence day, but were these ideals ever put into practice? After analyzing the inequality of the colonists of…
