When there is a railroad crossing and you come across it you need to make sure to slow down and not get hit by it coming towards you because that would hurt a lot. Also railroad crossing if you are going to fast might break the bottom of your car which would not be good. You should never pass a car when crossing a railroad because of what I said earlier is that you would be going faster than the car you past and will break your car. Which means you would need to pay a lot to fix your car. When you park 50 ft next to a railroad crossing will pull your car toward the train which then will make them collide and the people on the train and your car will get hurt. When the lights are flashing you should not cross the railroad because that means there is a train coming towards you and if you don’t take this seriously you could be severely injured or even killed. When you are driving and the cross gates start to close you should never go around, go under, or speed up to beat the cross gate. Also this is for safety reasons so this keeps you safe so don’t abuse this safety because it could save your life. All of the public railroad crossings have a mark to show that the railroad is coming up such as a X to make sure you are aware it is coming up. Also when you are on a motorcycle or bicycle every time you come to a railroad crossing you should proceed with caution this will make it safer for you and the people around you. When driving a vehicle you should never predict the speed of a train coming towards you, the size of the train and how big the engine is makes it look slow but actually it is going pretty fast because to get a train to stop it would take them 1 full mile of space to come to a complete
