Hero, such an overused word. These days people think someone who helps you with homework or something else is a hero. What is the true definition of a hero? “ A hero is no braver than an ordinary man, but he is braver for five minutes longer”, this quote is by Ralph Waldo Emerson. A hero is someone who puts someone's lives before theirs, someone who is willing to change their image to stand up for what they believe in, and a hero is someone who follows the Hero's Journey.
Some one who puts someone elses lives, before theirs. Someone who puts their safety last.
For example, The Army they risk their lives to save our nation’s people and liberty. Some die and some live, but they do what is right. That’s one of the main common factors of a hero.
