Rationale I chose Unilever’s product brand Dove to do my rationale on; it is because of the clean white bottles of the shampoo and conditioner and the way the company markets their products to all generations and genders. They are also one of the first companies to develop a self-esteem program that is targeted to growing girls of all ages; this program is designed to help young girls accept their own beauty with advertisements that are not promoted using thin, gorgeous models. Dove is dedicated to helping all generations and genders to believe in themselves and to except their own unique inner and outer beauty without causing them to feel that they are less than the next person; it is for this reason that I use their products. When I see Dove’s ads on television or in a magazine it makes me think of honesty, generosity and products that perform exactly the way you are told they should. I use Dove’s shampoo, conditioner, and body wash at least three times a week. I also like and appreciate the fact that Dove does not use harsh chemicals in their products nor do they use animals for testing; they strive to maintain a low impact on the environment as well. This product is known and used all over the world; their ads make you want to buy and use the product. The price of the this product is within a reasonable range compared to the competitor prices; if it is between purchasing Dove or another brand I will always choose Dove as they have proven to be reliable and perform as they claim.
