Critical Clauses in the Raytheon Code of Ethics
According to the Raytheon Code of Ethics everything, in my opinion, is very crucial, but the most meaningful parts that I see and is definitely the most weighty would be the statements for employees to seek their supervisor, ethics officer, and or legal counsel for the Raytheon company. By using the three main points of contacts for any situations that an employee will need to gain advice and counsel from will protect the company currently and in the future. This keeps things simple and also keeps everyone in check so no one will make any mistakes that can cost Raytheon.

For an example, when you are negotiating prices for current and future clients you need to document your thought process and what was said. So if the client calls your office to settle on price, but you are out of the office on vacation your peers and supervisor need to be able to read your notes to see the negotiated price that you have already settled on. If you do not execute this then you could possibly charge the wrong price since you did not yield valuable notes. Or even worst you could lose the client because they are tired of dealing with too numerous people that have different prices every time the speak to them. In my opinion, that would be a big deal
