Even if the families are scared they cannot show the public that they are scared about what happened. They need to show no emotion so their respected groups do not get discombobulated and out of control. Through fear come confusion and through confusion come poor leadership. Lord Capulet and Lord Montague need to show no fear so that they are able to lead their families and maintain a sense of fear and respect from the people. When a leader is scared the people following them also get scared and do not know what to do. This is why a leader must always remain calm. For instance, on September 11th, 2001 the Twin Towers got destroyed. Throughout the whole day President Bush stayed strong and did not let America and the rest of the world see how scared he truly was. He stayed calm and let America know that whoever did this would pay for it. Had George Bush come out as really scared and on his national announcement and started to cry and talk about how scared he then the whole country would have been panicking even more than they already were. In the end like in Romeo and Juliet all the americans (like the Montagues and Capulets) united as one and rose above and beyond the
