Reasons to buy a Wii U
The new Wii U is criticized by some, but the cons are really insignificant things that are cherry-picked by fans of Playstations and other portable consoles. There are many pros to the new tablet-like device that Nintendo has recently developed, such as backwards compatibility, support for 3rd party games, online multiplayer, and a new style of gaming where only the player holding the Wii U can see a certain screen. The initial reaction of people who purchased a Wii U was confusion when seeing how simple it was, but then while playing the games, saw it had a feature that is new to the video game market. The player holding the Wii U can see a screen that the other players, who are watching the television, cannot. Nintendo Land uses this feature to its advantage in the game, “Ghost Chase”. The Wii U holder is the ghost, who can see the players on the Wii U screen. The other players, however, only see a dark screen on the TV with their characters, and are unable to see the ghost. And that brings us to games available for the Wii U. There are currently 108 games released for the Wii U, after only 4 months of release. Most of these are 3rd party games, which is a new feature for the Wii U. 3rd party games make up a majority of the games available, and now increase the rate at which new games for Wii U develop. Also, some of these games are exclusive to Wii U, and will not come out for any other consoles. Finally, the Wii U is one of the best consoles. It is 8x faster than Playstation 3 and 4x faster than Xbox 360. It is much quieter than the Xbox 360, and no reports of crashes have been found. There are many free games for Wii U, compared to Xbox where one game can cost fifty dollars. The Playstation 3 has stolen a lot of ideas from past systems, compared to the Wii U, which is a new gaming concept. The Wii U also has games with better coding than PS3 games, and is a lot more difficult to hack, making gameplay better for everyone. The framerate of the Wii U

The victory of the Wii from the wireless motion-sensing controllers depends on the consumer desire. As Nintendo Wii continues through the product life cycle, I assume that it will stabilize as opponents are rapidly about to happen with very analogous products. The rate or charges of the item will turn down a little bit to maintain client’s stratagem. One more distinct thing in relation to the Nintendo Wii that I never observed as a lot with other video game systems is that they advertize their product in front of the families. Commonly, you believe about these video games as being for a fresh market, but Nintendo Wii has taken the observation on the reality that they have a product by which the entire family can get pleasure. They carry on becoming visible with games that are…

The Nintendo is having a lot of growth, since it has already proved by selling more consoles compared to its competitors Sony and Microsoft. The Wii is now targeting its customers not only the teenagers, but also the entire family community. As a design successor for Nintendo Wii, it would be better to design a product that suits the entire family to play and the cost for hardware and software has to be decreased with the innovative design technology by using the creativity. The Bluetooth technology can be used for connectivity.…

Given the current market scenario, Sony will have to fight on both fronts. The Wii has unlocked a new segment of the market. Sony should adapt its strategy to address this new market. But Sony must not lose sight of the big picture, to win the long term race for the “center of the living room”. Sony should leverage its relation with game developers to introduce simpler games for the casual gamer. It has to keep targeting the hardcore gamer and it must continue to provide additional value as a single device for gaming, streaming movies and television, internet surfing, video conferencing etc.…

Nintendo Co. Ltd. is a longstanding member of the home entertainment software industry that has embarked on a mission to offer the highest quality products and services while treating their customers with attention, consideration and respect. Nintendo’s strategy thus far has been to take advantage of their video game development capabilities; nearly 60% of games sold by Nintendo are self developed. The innovative capabilities derived from various gaming platforms have allowed Nintendo to capitalize off of a series of attachment control devices. The biggest strength that Nintendo has is a strong brand name along with high returns. A well established brand name gives Nintendo an edge over its competitors. Nintendo is the only company that has managed to capitalize on both hardware and software components. The biggest opportunity for Nintendo is to incorporate themselves into the online gaming market due to short product life cycles. Nintendo maintains their competitive advantage through superior game and character development, for which it often owns the legal rights. In a technical comparison of the Wii against its major competitors, it is substantially outperformed in speed processing, memory, storage, networking, video output and multimedia output. If Nintendo wishes to maintain a competitive advantage, the niche market must be penetrated while maintaining the integrity of the Nintendo brand image. Nintendo Black would become a subsidiary company of Nintendo Co. Ltd. that will operate with a mission to specialize in advanced technological specifications to consoles that will compete with Microsoft and Sony. If the proper measures are taken then Nintendo has the opportunity to continue to position itself as an alternative to the gaming experience while increasing the level of competition for its rival companies with its subsidiary company.…
