Receiving assistant is wonderful, but the fact of the matter is they can’t rely on the help forever at some point they need to find a job and get back on their feet and that comes with hard work, determination, and having faith that things will work out. The government have many job training programs for homeless people which consist of computer skills, preparing for an interview, and building a resume. According to the federal government’s Bureau of Labor Statistics, “Minnesota’s unemployment rate in May 2012 sat at an enviable 5.6%.” Since then the numbers went down to 1.9% thanks to a company name Lifeline Assistance. Lifeline Assistance is a company that provides a phones to low income and homeless people with up to 250 minutes to use for a month. The problem with the free phones is once you finish the 250 minute you have to wait till next month for your phone to work again. Personally for me I go through 400 or more minutes a day. What if an employer saw a resume he liked online and try to reach out to set up an appointment for an interview and the phone is disconnected? There should be a way that the employer can leave a voicemail while the phone is disconnected a creation like that will be
