Recommendation letter
XXX is a student of masters in Communication System Engineering at School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, National University of Sciences and Technology. I have been supervising XXX for past six months in the area of 'Topology control in Wireless Mesh Networks (WMN)'. Research objective of the project is to optimize the throughput of WMN through topology control. My recommendation for Miss Sadia is based on my roll as her supervisor and course instructor. XXX has shown excellent understanding of the research domain. Her ability to critically think, identify the research challenges and propose possible solutions makes her a suitable candidate for the proposed program. She has always shown keen interest in independent learning and problem solving. She is also quick at grasping the ideas explained to her by myself during past six months. Her participation in the Network Research Lab (NRL) at School of Computer Science and Engineering, University of New South Wales (UNSW), Australia will not only be beneficial for herself in further grooming her abilities but will also be a valuable addition in already active research group at NRL. At NRL, she will also be able to use the experimental facilities that are otherwise not available to her at her parent university in Pakistan.
Wireless Mesh Networks are emerging as cost effective alternate for providing last hop broadband wireless access. Deployment of such networks for Internet access in developing countries like Pakistan and rural areas of Australia (where infrastructure deployment is not cost effective) is equally beneficial and feasible. I am aware of atleast one project in both countries, aiming at large scale wireless mesh network deployment. Research by Miss Sadia will be a significant contribution in resolving the capacity issues of WMN.
As per my understanding, XXX slightly lacks in self-realization of her capabilities. I believe that her interaction with people from different parts of the world at

The Sarbanes–Oxley Act of 2002 (Pub.L. 107–204, 116 Stat. 745, enacted July 30, 2002), also known as the 'Public Company Accounting Reform and Investor Protection Act' (in the Senate) and 'Corporate and Auditing Accountability and Responsibility Act' (in the House) and more commonly calledSarbanes–Oxley, Sarbox or SOX, is a United States federal law that set new or enhanced standards for all U.S. public company boards, management and public accounting firms. It is named after sponsors U.S. Senator Paul Sarbanes(D-MD) and U.S. Representative Michael G. Oxley (R-OH). As a result of SOX, top management must now individually certify the accuracy of financial information. In addition, penalties for fraudulent financial activity are much more severe. Also, SOX increased the independence of the outside auditors who review the accuracy of corporate financial statements, and increased the oversight role of boards of directors.[1]…

Police Brutality is defined as the use of excessive or unnecessary force by police when dealing with civilians. What the dictionary does not state is that lives are lost, families are ripped apart, and innocent people are killed every year. Officers are made to enforce the law, and protect the citizens from harmful situations, not to use force indiscriminately in situations that could be managed in many other ways. The topic of police brutality needs to be brought up more as a situation that needs to be fixed and addressed by the public and government-like figures. Many of the police brutality reports have said to be based a lot on race.…

Introduction Wireless mesh networks (WMNs) are dynamically self-organized and self-configured, with the nodes in the network automatically establishing an ad hoc network and maintaining the mesh connectivity. WMNs are comprised of two types of nodes: mesh routers and mesh clients. Other than the routing capability for gateway/bridge functions as in a conventional wireless router, a mesh router contains additional routing functions to support mesh networking. Through multi-hop communications, the same coverage can be achieved by a mesh router with much lower transmission power. To further improve the flexibility of mesh networking, a mesh router is usually equipped with multiple wireless interfaces built on either the same or different wireless access technologies.…
