I am writing this letter of recommendation on the behalf of Daphnie K. Rangel. She is an outstanding student and person. She not only believes in herself but everyone that she comes in contact with. She never thinks twice about helping people out and she is always willing to help in any way possible. She is a selfless person and cares deeply about her friends and family. She has achieved a 3.75 weighted GPA and a 3.5714 unweighted GPA. She is currently ranked 68 out of 259 students. She puts all her energy and focus in her studies. She hopes to be able to achieve her future goals, which are attending Guilford College and majoring in criminal justice and minoring in forensic biology in order to become a forensic detective.
She is an active member of Junior Civitans, Art Club, and French Club, as well as a member of East Rowan High School’s bowling team. She has participated in over 20 service projects in Junior Civitan. Some of the projects are the Special Olympics, courtyard clean up, Miss Jr. Civitan pageant, abundant living, and relay for life 5k. Daphnie K. Rangel is a girl who inspires others. She is a great leader and role model for younger kids. She never gives up on people or dreams.
Daphnie K. Rangel and her family live on a farm so their living conditions are rather tough. They own a farm where they breed and sell horses and dogs. In today’s economy, it is rather hard to find people to buy the animals let alone take care of them. They also have medical bills to pay and she has an older sister in college. The medical bills consist of human and animals. So going to college is rather difficult for them to afford.
I believe Daphnie K. Rangel is a worthy candidate for this scholarship and I am honored to right this letter of recommendation for her.
Sincerely,
Phillip
