It's so amazing all the things you'll find when you make a point of traveling to Denver and going around to see all the stuff there. One of the coolest places to check out is Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Anyone who's been there says it's one of the best places they've been to go see live concerts, and movies. Even though it's known these days as one of the best concert places ever in the United States; it banned rock concerts for five whole years! That happened back in 1971. It was because of the band Jethro Tull. A bunch of people rioted. They hit the police with rocks. The police hit them with tear gas. Because rock groups were banned, Jethro Tull didn't play Red Rocks again until 2008.
In addition to making sure to check out Red Rocks Amphitheatre, you should make some time during your visit to visit the Denver Art Museum. The Denver Art Museum is considered one of the best Museums in the United States of America. It has an extensive-collection of American Indian art; and it’s the home to more than 68,000 other works.
One of the newest buildings at the Art Museum is the Frederic C. Hamilton Building. There's been some criticism of the Frederic C. Hamilton Building. Art critic, Christopher Hawthorne, said, "museum architecture does not always blend cohesively with a great architectural achievement". Denver really does have anything a visitor wants. If a visitor is into food, he or she will find all the options he or she would have hoped for. If one is really into steak, you are going to find some of the tastiest steaks in town at Elway's. This Colorado Steakhouse is named for former Denver Bronco's QB John Elway, and it's excellent. There are four separate locations throughout

For my visual analysis assignment I chose to go visit the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. It has been an extremely long time since I last visited a museum. I took my twelve year old son with me to explore what the museum had to offer. We found the art to be very interesting, educational and unique. There were so many beautiful pieces throughout the museum that it was difficult trying to decide which one I wanted to base my visual analysis on.…

Visiting the Newark Museum was new to me; I have gone to the museum of art in New York, but I never really found any interest in art itself, until now. Because of this Art appreciation class, I was able to criticize some of the paintings hanging on the wall, and the way everything was set up. It was very interesting to see the quality of some of the art work that I passed by. The most wonderful collection of art that I found to be the most interesting one is the African collection.…

El Paso is considered to be a city with an enormous population. The city of El Paso consists of a very substantial variety of eating establishment and shopping centers. Another outstanding thing that is good about El Paso is it has many tourist sites, but the weather and traffic can be some major downfalls when coming to a decision, and when deciding on living there and just wanting to plan visiting arrangements. Although El Paso may be big Roswell, New Mexico, can still be a great place to live. It may not have as many dining establishments, or even be considered a city (due to the lack of population). Instead Roswell is considered the small town. There are very few tourist sites in Roswell, New Mexico. In Roswell almost…

I personally took a tour through the Hall of Fame to see what it consists of. I was amazed by the things I saw because they were historians that I have never heard of. I saw a collection of bronze faces of both genders, female and male. Under their bronze faces you will see their name follow the year they were born, the year they died and a quote. The quotes under their name represented statements they wrote as a message base on their belief. This place looks like a real museum a little different because is at open air. Usually museums are built to keep special work of arts, specimen of scientist or other objects of permanent value. In this case this museum shows over 98 great American sculptures for us to honor for the things they have done for us.…

While Houston is known to be largely diverse on the art spectrum, Dallas “boasts of having the nation’s largest arts district,” writer of popular blog, The Daily Beast says. And believe it or not, this actually serves true. “The district is comprised of museums, performance halls, corporate offices, residences, restaurants, churches and even a school,” says the Visit Dallas website. But when it comes to diversity of the art scene, Houston definitely takes the cake. According to The Daily Beast and Census data “Houston has now surpassed New York as the country’s most racially and ethnically diverse metropolis.” And with racial and ethnic diversity comes culture and art diversity as well. And although the two cities share multiple differences, they also share similarities in that they are both home to world famous art museums, critically acclaimed symphonies, and distinctive architecture.…

During my time in Colorado, I discovered that Estes Park is one of the most interesting tourist towns I have visited. During the week my youth group was in Colorado, we set one day aside to tour the city and the downtown area. All ten of us went to several ice cream shops and sampled ice cream of all varieties. After the ice cream, Abby and I checked out a saltwater taffy shop; the shop has used the same recipe for over one hundred years. Between breaks at shops to eat delicious food, we went into the souvenir shops and observed many things: t-shirts, hats, postcards and all kinds of key chains. Besides the mountains and the rivers, I have to say that the best attraction in Estes Park is the Stanley Hotel. The Stanley Hotel is commonly known as the hotel from Stephen King’s The Shining. Also, the filming of Dumb and Dumber took place at the Stanley Hotel. Our group toured a small section of the vast hotel, but the staff would not allow us to a full tour unless we paid a…
