Introduction : Introduction RED TACTON meaning: tacton: touch-act-on (action triggered by touching) red: symbol of warmth and love conveying the cordiality of interpersonal communications Red Tacton works on HAN. (Human area networking) Communication between electronic wearable devices on human body and outside environment critical-so human area networking essential Red Tacton uses the surface of the human body as a safe, high speed network transmission path. Red Tacton uses the minute electric field emitted on the surface of the human body for the data transfer. Technically its completely distinct to wireless and infrared. Communication possible through any part of the body.

Working of Red Tacton: Working of Red Tacton Red Tacton works upon the principle that the optical properties of an electro-optic crystal can vary according to the changes of a weak electric field. 10 mbps transmission speed is achieved between any 2 points on the transmission path in the body. Major components of device are a red tacton transmitter and a receiver( electro-optic crystal and laser)

Maintaining a proper communication channel between the different information systems is a key aspect in providing continuum of care. Several different systems and solutions had been introduced in the health care industry with the goal of improving the communication among the health care providers (Blazona & Koncar, 2007). The interconnection of devices is necessary to ensure the efficient workflow and communication within a hospital system. Developing new devices and integrating the existing systems together can attain this effectiveness. A wireless communication system called ‘Health Port’ has developed to improve the workflow and communication for the healthcare providers. The device will accept the alerts and sent to the relevant person regarding the treatment of the patient. For example, if a medication is due at a specific time, the device will alert the nurse during the time. Also once the medication is given, it will transfer the data to the system and help to provide a communication chain between the providers. Many of the health care information management system have developed on the Health Level 7 (HL7) standards. HL7 is a standard format used for the transmission of health information between the different systems.…

In healthcare, inter-professional communication is when professionals communicate with each other, with their families and the community. As this kind of communication builds trust among people, families and co-workers. In order to perform inter-professional communication well, an environment of mutual understanding and respect is important.
