The excerpt mean you keep trying to fix the problems, but you can’t. You finally give up and let it go from there. Once that happens you basically have no control at all over the situation. You then put your trust in God, and let him take over. The song and the movie share similarities as far as an overall message goes. The message for the song is that whenever you are in any trouble that you can’t handle. There is always another option. The movie gives off that same message at some points. Redemption is the action of saving or being saved from sin, error, or evil. The song relates to the song because of the term redemption. Redemption happened in the song when God saved the person. He raps about how he was struggling to get by in life, and with the help of friends and God he was able to make it to the top.
