After 5 weeks attending Business Communication class, students have learnt how to work and communicate with people in a business environment. The lecturer gives a lot of lesson about formality such as professional attire, presentation skill and behaves in business of different cultural.
Most of Vietnamese student’s weakness is lacking of communication skill. Therefore, when they present or contact with other people in business environment as well as in society, they are quite not confident enough to communicate effectively. Hence, by studying Business Communication lecture, student are not only take note and listening to teacher but also pay attention to the way each person communicate with other through the way they talking and presenting. The teacher asked us about the background of lecture for us to understand the overview of problems. As a result, teacher gave student a lot of opportunities to present their ideas as well as communicate with others in class. After that, teacher will clarify each issue for student specifically and help them to recognize the issue. Additionally, teacher also explains through example and actions which will help students understand more clearly. Moreover, one of the most important skill will be improved in this course is presentation skill. Since 2011, I have not presented any presentation. It leads to my presentation skill get worse. I always feel unconfident and scary when standing in front of many people. However, when I study Business Communication course, the lecturer makes presentation is more interesting by dividing students into departments such as Sale Department or Marketing Department and Human Resources and it promotes students to connect and talk with other more and better. In addition, in 5 week, we almost have presentation for each week. As a consequences, my presentation skill is improved through preparation at home and the feedback of teacher after each presentation. Feedback is
