Reflecting On My Strength As A Writer
Reflecting back on writing my research paper, there were certainly some strengths I believed I exceeded in. While writing the paper, I consider the points and details I used to be both effective and properly stated. That being said, while doing research, I believed I strived in finding reliable sources that provide accurate information towards my topic. Referring back to the research, I believe I used references that were relatively recent in either the publishing or editing date. Considering these things, I believe that I have wrote a strong paper that can be used to show my strengths as a writer. Despite my strengths, there are most definitely some weaknesses that were found throughout the areas of the paper that I could have improved on.

I think that this paper could be improved two different ways. First, is the way I organized the essay. It skips around from one thing to another. Secondly, I need to stay on topic better because I tend to ramble sometimes in this essay. This essay is great at keeping the reader drawn in. It also has a good introductory paragraph.…

My weaknesses fall mostly with the lack of explanation present in my body paragraphs. I feel as if the second I reached a point I simply moved onto the next, as if simply pointing out the strategies was sufficient. Also I do not feel that my incorporation of quotes was sufficient enough for the claims I was making. I feel like they were inserted without explanation. If I could rewrite this essay, I would most definitely work on these weaknesses as well as provide a stronger introduction which better addresses the prompt. Currently standing however, I would give my essay a four because of the lack of development in the body…

Nevertheless, I believe that my isearch is well written and I am satisfied with the majority of my research paper. Honesty, authenticity, genuineness, bravery, and valor are my top strengths. I was shocked by these results not only because I feel they are extremely accurate, but these are the things I value most in life, especially honesty, I feel that you can hate a man to the core, but if that man is a truly honest man you can only respect him. I want to be an epitome of a truly honest man, and I believe my character strengths will help me achieve this goal. My bottom strengths were the love of learning, self-control, and regulation. I feel these strengths are just as important as my top strengths, and I need to maximize them all in order to become a great leader. He grew up in this town, spending his days working and adventuring in every niche of the area. For an eighteen year old, his journey of life was monotonous. He endeavoured to peregrinate and advance his life- but his next journey was one that caused a nauseous, yet prideful feeling in the pit of his stomach.…

In the past a thousand weeks, I feel like I have accomplished a great deal. As the quarter ends, I find myself reflecting not only how I have survived my fifth quarter but also what I have learned. The most important thing I have learned so far is how to become a better writer. I did not think it could really happen to me. I did not think I could handle all the work. I did not think I could actually become a better writer. Somehow, after all the hours of writing, and putting effort into my papers that I wrote in this quarter, I became a better writer. I did this because I concentrated on two very important areas. With help from an awesome teacher and my partner, I have become a better writer by improving my skills in the areas of procrastination and content.…

I used to believe I was a good writer. Throughout my elementary school education, creative writing dominated curriculum which allowed my extremely creative mindset to thrive. In middle school, I developed an elitist mentality about my writing ability. Believing that I reached my academic peak, I felt no need to sharpen my writing skills, causing me to become close minded to critique or other writing styles. Upon entering high school, I still clung to the idea that I was the best, but after my first week of class, I realized how weak my writing skills were in contrast to those of other students. Now, I am aware of my strengths and weaknesses as a writer, and hope to have come far from my middle school self.…

The Writing Journey Revision is the act of revising, it is to correct, edit and redraft. When I begin to revise a paper, first I reread what I wrote then afterwards, I read it aloud, the human mind won’t necessarily point out the mistakes because the brain will correct what you read and implement it to what needs to be there. Depending on the topic or the importance of the paper, I’ll ask around for help, or sometimes I would ask a friend to edit my paper to point out my mistakes and learn from them. Ever since 8th grade I pushed myself to convert to an improved writer through the art of literature.…

My core, defining strength in writing is set up of the physical pape. When I write a report, I usually divide my paper in different segments as that allows the reader and myself a quick and easy method to find where information is located. This probably stems from the fact I must write a lot of lab reports as a Biology major. However, I cannot recall if I ever written an argument report with this method as I just starting using it when I enrolled in college. It will be interesting to see how well I will do.…

Where do I stand as a writer? This was a question I constantly asked myself and pondered about whether it was writing for a hobby or for a class assignment. Through the years of writing on the side, and creating stories from the fiction of my imagination, to sitting in English classes with constant interest to improve my writing, I found the passion and craving to write something, growing more vibrantly inside me, and feel as though it constantly changes my viewpoint and have emerged to the writer I’ve always wanted to be and hoped for. The constant obstacles and challenges that I faced during the more recent years of writing, I feel as though, have shaped me towards being a better writer, with still more room to grow…
